Information for agencies

My Money Steps has been developed to work with existing debt advice services helping people manage their debts.  My Money Steps provides an online channel for accessing free, confidential and impartial money advice, helping to ease pressure on advice agencies and freeing them up to advise those most in need of face-to-face support or telephone advice. It covers advice for people living in England, Wales and Scotland.

This page provides an overview of how My Money Steps works and how it can assist your clients. In this section you can also download posters, leaflets and guides and find out more about how to link to My Money Steps from your website.

Expert advice

My Money Steps is unique in using 100s of rules and calculations that sit behind the software. This ensures that it provides tailored and personalised debt advice. The money advice content has been developed by debt advice specialists at National Debtline and Business Debtline, ensuring that advice is accurate and up-to-date.

My Money Steps can be used with your clients and can help them in the following ways:

  • Creating an individual, confidential and secure account for every client which means that they can return to the site as often as they need to.
